The Hosts

Stefan Lorenz

Born in 1975 in Western Austria, shares a deep-rooted passion for aviation.

After completing senior high school and military service, he began his aviation journey as cabin crew, flying across Europe and around the world on aircraft such as the A320, A330, and A340. Following industry turbulence in the early 2000s — including the aftermath of 9/11 and the collapse of Swissair — he transitioned to the UK, where he took on a leadership role in the banking sector.

Yet his passion for aviation never faded. Throughout the years, he remained active in the flight simulation scene, working on professional-level projects and flight sim add-ons. Eventually, he returned fully to the skies, earning his commercial pilot license at the Oxford Aviation Academy and joining a large international airline, where he now flies the Airbus A320 family. Stefan also runs the YouTube channel FSclips and continues to contribute to the simulation industry — making him an ideal host of Aviation‑Quest.cc.

Jürgen Reis

Born in 1976 in Dornbirn, Austria, Jürgen Reis has always been driven by passion and performance.

As a competitive athlete, he climbed into the top ten of a Sport Climbing World Cup event in 2002. His dedication to sports and communication led him to author seven specialized sports books and host over 850 podcast episodes focused on physical and mental excellence. Today, Jürgen works as a marketing consultant and personal coach for high performers — including aviation professionals.

His fascination with flight began early, earning his glider pilot license in 1993 and his motor glider license in 1997. Until 2006, he accumulated nearly 190 hours as pilot in command before shifting his focus to advanced flight simulation — where he remains active today. In July 2025, together with his long-time friend and fellow aviation enthusiast Stefan, Jürgen launched Aviation‑Quest.cc to explore the skies through stories, insights, and inspiring interviews from all corners of the aviation world.
